Unrefined shea butter
Cosmetic grade, bought by formulators and by the refiners who supply them.
The most demanding market we sell into. Buyers here ask for documents before they ask for a price, and they are right to.
European buyers are food manufacturers, cosmetics houses and the ingredient traders who supply them. They work to written specifications and they audit their suppliers, so a shipment is judged on paperwork as much as on what is in the bag.
That suits us. We already buy at the collection point and record each lot separately, which is the hard part of traceability. What Europe adds is the requirement to prove it: analysis certificates, origin documents, and an answer when someone asks which communities a consignment came from.
Expect the first order to take longer than you would like. Buyers here run samples, check the paperwork and often visit before they commit. Once past that, they order to a plan and they stay for years.

Stearin and olein fractions for confectionery and bakery manufacturers.
Graded to European standards, packed for retail or for further processing.
Crushing quality, sold against specification and analysis.
In Europe the sample gets you a conversation. The paperwork gets you the order.
